Health care spending accounts (HCSAs) provide a cost-effective way for employers to address the benefits needs of a diverse workforce. An HCSA will allow for reimbursement of health and dental expenses over and above the group plan coverage or where group plan maximum have been exceeded.
HCSAs are typically used to enhance group plans however, they can be used as a total replacement to a group insurance plan.
